Dining- Out At The Grocery Store?

💳 You can get nearly any food that you want anytime, hot and ready.

💳Get on the app of your choice, browse the restaurants, and in minutes you’re eating like royalty.

💳Add to this the busy lifestyles that people have which makes for not wanting to cook.

💳This convenience is causing people to go broke and be unhealthy …and fast.

💳Can you believe some people are making payments on their eating out habits via credit or other pay later apps?

💳Well there is another way that you can eat good without having to go broke even on those days that you are unable to cook.

💳First let us not skip out on the fact that the best way to dine is from your own hands. Cooking for yourself, meal planning, eating from fresh halaal food at home is the primary method for preservation of health and wellness.

💳However in reality there will be times in our lives where eating out/dining out is going to happen but it should not be more often than cooking from home.

💳For those times you’d like a break from home cooking (which should not be often), the grocery store is a great option to start with.

💳In many grocery stores they have sections where you can buy fresh food made in-store the same day. They’re usually called something like “the daily specials.”

💳This can be food such as:

🍍Veggie or seafood soups

🍍Sandwiches

🍍Sushi

🍍Organic chicken meals

🍍Veggie burgers and a side

🍍Freshly baked pizza

💳In addition, you can buy foods sometimes even halaal that may be “quick meals” to make at home or pair with side dishes from home. For example halaal chicken or beef patties. Or organic ramen that you can make quick at home with eggs, kimchi, and pieces of chicken breast.

💳What about the elaborate seafood broils? Instead of buying them already cooked at a restaurant, it’s much less expensive when you just buy the crab legs, eggs, shrimps, and whatever else that you want at the grocery store and just boil them at home. Some stores even have the broil kits! Plus you get a lot more portions when you get it yourself from the grocery stores.

💳This not only saves you tons of money but also prevents you from eating at places that probably aren’t always the best for your health. And sometimes not even worth your money.

💳A bonus benefit that I would like to share is that if you do decide to eat out at a restaurant or the “Uber Eats” vibes, then only eat from places that you frequent with which actually COOK fresh food. Not serve processed fake food.

💳For example, your local “mom and pop” halaal places are awesome. Like Mediterranean restaurants, Ethiopian restaurants, or vegetarian restaurants. I would recommend NOT eating at those “chain fast food” places. They tend to have the worst food.

💳When you support your local grocery stores prepared foods or local restaurants, it’s a much healthier alternative and your body gets accustomed to those places foods which is a protection from sicknesses from eating at random places.

💳The bloating, gaining weight, skin problems, digestive issues, diabetes, some organ issues, lack of Barakah in the food etc these can be attributed to negligence of not being careful when we eat both from home, and outside.

💳We also need to be reminded that controlling our desires is in order when it comes to food. Because when we let our stomachs control us, this will be a disaster.

💳So let us take care of our food In shaa Allaah. This doesn’t mean that you cannot have fun and enjoy different foods or take breaks from cooking sometimes. It just means to be mindful and cautious as to how you go about this and keep it simple.
