If it’s not on the list, then it’s not happening.

🗓️We have a lot going on in life that needs to be done on a daily basis.


🗓️Having systems that help us to divide our tasks little by little is better than having to rush and get everything done randomly.


🗓️One of the things that help for  management of tasks is a good old “to do” list.


🗓️Even with the advancement of technology there are just certain habits that still hold true and successful and a to do list is one of those habits.


🗓️Sure there are various new ways to organize a to do list now with technology however, the concept is still the same. Writing down the things that you need to get done.


🗓️As you list those tasks you can check them off of your to do list which makes you feel empowered to do more.


🗓️As you see tasks getting completed, you’re seeing this long list of daily accomplishments. This makes for even better productivity.


🗓️In addition, when we have affairs in our head piled up of what has to get done, it becomes overwhelming and stressful.


🗓️Sure you’ve made a “mental note” to do something. But you never seen the proof of it actually getting done like you do on a to do list.


🗓️Plus you’re bound to forget many of the tasks you thought about therefrore delaying progress in life with important matters.


🗓️When something comes up that you know has to get done, go into your notes app and use a checklist style format to write it down. Keep adding to your list as things come up and keep checking things off that list each time stuff gets done.


🗓️I suggest to make the to do list in your phone because most people have their phones with them throughout the day. So you’re more easily able to achieve the adding and checking off from the list from the phone.


🗓️There are two types of to do lists. The everyday to do list, and the weekly to do list.


🗓️On the daily to do list are things such as your everyday habits and these are repetitive such as reading Quraan, saying adhkaar, taking your supplements, working out etc.


🗓️Putting them on the list and checking them off everyday makes you see how consistent that you are and helps you to stay on track with your habits AlHamdulillaah.


🗓️The weekly to do list are things that aren’t a daily habit but needs to get done within that week. For example grocery shopping, appointments, paperwork that needs to be sent out, assignments or meal planning etc.


🗓️To do lists are such a simple tool yet so impactful in managing life. Some people overlook this tool and try to keep responsibilities in their head. But this results in chaos and mismanagement of time.


🗓️To do lists is like having a personal secretary but for free. There to organize important matters and free your mind.


🗓️If you don’t write it, it probably won’t get done. Make sure to put together your To Do list asap In shaa Allaah.
