šāO you who believe! Have Taqwa of Allah and speak (always) the truth.ā Soorah Al-AHzaab (33:70)
šBased on this aayah we are reminded how important it is to speak the truth.
šBe straight. No side talking. No beating around the bush.
šIn doing so Allaah will rectify our affairs and increase us in good deeds.
šThat being said, you have many who will say that they are ākeepin it realā and ātelling it how it is.ā
šThen when they get a bad response from others after ākeepin it realā, they make the excuse that people cannot handle their ārealness.ā
šThey also use this as their excuse on why they dont have many friends.
šPeople can handle when you correct them, call them to the truth, give them daāwah, show them different perspectives but what people DO NOT like is rudeness.
šAnd this is what we need to be conscious of. Itās not what you say itās HOW you say it.
šThe yelling, shaming, name calling, being dismissive, negatively critical all in the name of ākeepin it realā this is in fact keepin it rude!
šApart of being a good Muslim is being honest and upfront. Communication is dire being in a generation of people who side talk and are slick.
šBut this does not warrant someone to be mean or raunchy to others.
šMay Allaah aid us in being honest, kind, generous, and balanced in our speech Aameen š¤²š¼ Baarak Allaahu Feekum ŲØŲ§Ų±Ł Ų§ŁŁŁ ŁŁŁŁ
