šŸŽ™Keepin it real or keepin it rude?

šŸŽ™ā€œO you who believe! Have Taqwa of Allah and speak (always) the truth.ā€ Soorah Al-AHzaab (33:70)

šŸŽ™Based on this aayah we are reminded how important it is to speak the truth.

šŸŽ™Be straight. No side talking. No beating around the bush.

šŸŽ™In doing so Allaah will rectify our affairs and increase us in good deeds.

šŸŽ™That being said, you have many who will say that they are ā€œkeepin it realā€ and ā€œtelling it how it is.ā€

šŸŽ™Then when they get a bad response from others after ā€œkeepin it realā€, they make the excuse that people cannot handle their ā€œrealness.ā€

šŸŽ™They also use this as their excuse on why they dont have many friends.

šŸŽ™People can handle when you correct them, call them to the truth, give them da’wah, show them different perspectives but what people DO NOT like is rudeness.

šŸŽ™And this is what we need to be conscious of. It’s not what you say it’s HOW you say it.

šŸŽ™The yelling, shaming, name calling, being dismissive, negatively critical all in the name of ā€œkeepin it realā€ this is in fact keepin it rude!

šŸŽ™Apart of being a good Muslim is being honest and upfront. Communication is dire being in a generation of people who side talk and are slick.

šŸŽ™But this does not warrant someone to be mean or raunchy to others.

šŸŽ™May Allaah aid us in being honest, kind, generous, and balanced in our speech Aameen šŸ¤²šŸ¼ Baarak Allaahu Feekum بارك الله ŁŁŠŁƒŁ…
