“Plan B” Duas 🤲🏻

As salaamu ‘alaykum

السلام عليكم ,

🌐 Dear readers, when we ask from Allaah we must ask Him with the belief that He will not leave us empty handed. Allaah has already informed us in the Quraan:

وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌۖ أُجِيبُ دَعۡوَةَ ٱلدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِۖ فَلۡيَسۡتَجِيبُواْ لِي وَلۡيُؤۡمِنُواْبِي لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡشُدُونَ

🌐And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me – indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided.

Soorah BaQarah aayah 186.

🌐It is a must to have strong resolve and do not have doubt in the back of our minds while asking from Allaah. Thoughts such as:

🚫Allaah is probably not going to give this to me.

🚫This is too much to ask Allaah for.

🚫This is a bit outlandish to ask.

🚫This is too little to ask.

🚫What if Allaah will not answer me?

🌐Some of us have the mentality that if Allaah does not give us what we are asking for, then we have a “backup plan” of how we will handle Him not answering our dua.

🌐In reality this is sabotaging your own call to Allaah. Why call upon Him if you have doubt? Be certain. Be firm. He WILL answer you. And understand that it may not always be answered in the EXACT way that we want however, it is the exact answer that we NEED and is decreed for us.

🌐Remember that one of the ways in which Allaah can answer us is by way of protecting us from a harm in which we did not know of when asking for certain affairs.

🌐With that aversion from harm comes a replacement of that which is better for us anyhow. So the dua is still answered but in an even better way, ألله أكبر

🌐As Muslims we always win, our affairs are taken care of by Allaah but we must acknowledge and believe this with all of our hearts.

🌐In addition, we need patience and good thoughts even in times of adversity. The harder the challenge the easier it is to be discouraged but do not give in. It’ll be even sweeter once the relief comes and you think back to how hard you called upon Allaah. And within that struggle of calling upon Him is an increase of faith AlHamdulillaah.

🌐So the next time you offer dua, be firm in your request to Allaah and stand on it! Be confident and excited at the blessings that will come In shaa Allaah.
