✨ The Walk to Masjid Qubaa

✨ When Allaah invites you visit Madinah you not only get to experience the delights of the Prophets ﷺ masjid an-Nabawee but also the other holy sites there as well AlHamdulillaah.

✨ That being said, another beautiful masjid there is called Masjid Qubaa. This historic masjid plays an important role in our Islaamic history and is stunning inside and out.

✨ Originally located in the village of Qubaa (hence the name) this is considered the second most holiest mosque in Madinah after the prophets ﷺ mosque.

✨ Some are mistaken believing that it was masjid an-Nabawee that was the first mosque built in Madinah but actually it was masjid Qubaa.

✨ The prophet ﷺ was known to walk or ride to this masjid weekly. And one prayer offered in this blessed mosque is equivalent to the reward of Umrah SubHaanAllaah!

✨ Much more can be said about masjid Qubaa but one more additional benefit is from my own personal experience.

✨ When we walked upon the path going to Masjid Qubaa, nowadays it is so adorned and newly renovated. It wasn’t always like this.

✨As we were walking I realized so many bright beautiful lights, amazing shopping outlets and stores, competitive prices, amusement and activities for families, the glitter, the gold, and so much more!

✨ We were instructed to dhikr 📿 Allaah upon our walk but wow was it tough trying to tune out those distractions which are placed there for business purposes.

✨ What’s my point? The point is that this is the same as the Dunyaa. This world is filled with so many distractions. Things in which divert us from the path of remembering Allaah.

✨ And just like that walk to masjid Qubaa, it is upon us to fight to keep focused on the goal no matter what…..striving to get to Jannah.

✨ This is a quick Umrah reflection I wanted to share in hopes that it will help us to apply in our daily lives In shaa Allaah.
