Umm ‘Ammaarah Nusaybah

🗡 Umm ’Ammaarah Nusaybah was from the famous Najjaar tribe and was Ansaariyyah.

🗡Although she was a faithful loyal wife and a loving mother, she was renowned for being courageous on the battlefield.

🗡She was Knowledgeable in Quraan & Hadeeth.

🗡Her life is such an amazing example of the various roles a Muslim woman can have and be successful with.

🗡She was apart of the 74 people from Madeena to convert to Islaam pledging allegiance in the “Second Oath” of Islaamic history. (72 men and 2 women. She was one of the two women to please allegiance.)

🗡She participated in several battles one of them being the battle of uHud in which he prophet ﷺ said whichever direction he looked, Umm ‘Ammaarah was defending him SubHaanAllaah.

🗡She suffered severe wounds one of which she fainted and another she got her arm cut off.

🗡She was the saHaabiyyah who confronted the prophet ﷺ about there only being men mentioned in the Quraan of which Allaah revealed soorah aHzaab ayah 35. This ayah dispeled her concern and included women in its description AlHamdulillaah.

🗡Umm Ammaar, her husband Ghazyah ibn ‘Amr, and two sons were all warriors 🛡 of which the prophet ﷺ admired their united bravery as a family Maa shaa Allaah.

🗡Their efforts did not go unnoticed by our beloved prophet ﷺ and this is what caused him to offer special duas for Umm ‘Ammaar and her family. “Oh Allaah make this family friends in Jannah.”

🗡Words cannot express the many blessed qualities that this one woman had. May Allaah be pleased with Umm ‘Ammaar and her family Aameen 🤲🏼 . Such am inspiration SubHaanAllaah
